When people hear about Renterval, their first question is usually “what happens if my stuff isn’t returned?”  At Renterval, we understand the concern, and that’s why we have robust measures in place to prevent the theft of your items. 

The strongest protection is the fact that renters must provide a valid credit card (preauthorized for the rental  price of your rental item).  But you, too, can help further protect yourself.  As you are offering your item for rent, you can require that your customer provide a valid driver’s license to ensure you have an accurate address for your customer.  Additionally, you get to specify the cash deposit you want to collect at the time your item is provided.  Bear in mind, a high deposit might deter some customers from renting your item, but because of Renterval’s easy listing modification process, changes are fast and free – play around with a deposit amount to find the sweet spot!
