The Super Bowl is less than a week away -are you going to spend or earn? When people hold big get togethers, they usually are short on key items like tables, chairs, coolers and other party-related extras. Before Renterval, their only choice paying crazy fees from the big rental stores (and most of those stores are closed on Sundays – the day of the big game!). Now, they can check out Renterval.com and find neighbors with items to rent, often at a HUGE discount. Both “merchants” and renters benefit from Renterval’s unique service: merchants earn and renters save. So, take a look around. What do you have that is sitting idle that could be earning you money?

Make sure that no matter what the score is on the big screen, you’re a winner on Super Sunday.

The great thing about the holidays is that oftentimes you get new stuff to replace your old stuff. In my case, it was a new 4-man tent. The old one is in great shape, but a new one is just what I wanted. So, instead of trying to find a buyer online, I put it up for rent. After all, you don’t camp everyday, so it’s kind of hard to justify spending the $100 for something you’ll use once or twice per year. That’s why Renterval is the best place to list your stuff. You can keep it and make far more money through multiple rentals than you would earn from a sale (usually at a deep discount). What’s in your garage, attic or storage locker that could be earning money for you?

It’s funny how every few months, there’s a big buzz about a “new” slant on traditional business. This year, the buzz is about people renting textbooks instead of buying them.

Renting textbooks makes perfect sense. Think about it – the item in question is needed only for a short period of time (usually a semester), has limited value to the user after the interval (are you really going to go back and brush up on business calculus), and customers (usually students) are typically on a limited budget.

On the flip side, students who own the textbooks have 3 options:
1. Selling it back to the bookstore they bought it from for a tiny fraction of what they paid for it
2. Taking it to the recycle bin (and getting nothing more than gratification for helping the earth, or
3. Keeping it for years after it’s useful lift

At Renterval, you can list your old (and sometimes new) textbooks for customers near you to rent. Set your price, establish how long you will allow the customer to keep the book, and you’re in the textbook rental game – it’s that easy!

Customers can search by title or genre and their ZIP code to find a wealth of titles.

Get started today!

PS – anyone want to rent a textbook addressing concerns about Y2K?

I’m not just a customer, I bought the company!

I had a choice today – either spend one half of my weekend laboring in the yard to do those spring things that have to be done (cleaning out gutters, trimming bushes, trimming trees, sweeping up, etc.), or I could help the economy (and take the easy way out).

I’m aways amazed at how powerful Renterval is. I entered “yard work” and my ZIP code, and voila! So many providers to choose from! In less than 5 minutes I scheduled the work, paid for it, and I was done. And, I knew if the job wasn’t done right, I had Renterval’s full protection behind me.

If you’ve got time on your hands and can do yard work, cleaning, planting, or anything else charged by the interval, list yourself on Renterval!

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Henry Ford never assembled a model T. John Rockerfeller never drilled an oil well. Cornelius Vanderbilt never built a railroad.

So how could these men be so incredibly successful (i.e. rich)? They found good labor and sold there time for more than they paid for it.

Simple, right? Well, why don’t you do the same thing? Renterval is the perfect place to put your time and talent to work for you. Even if you don’t possess a special talent, you can find someone who does and let them work for you. Instantly, you can become a CEO. The formula is simple, afterall: Find labor that charges $X per hour. Sell that labor for $X + $Y dollars per hour, and keep $Y all for yourself. The value you provide is finding the labor a place where they can earn $X. You can become a time broker in no time at all. Once you find a source of good labor, the sky is the limit. You’ll never know how easy it is until you get started. Now’s the time – and after all, time is money!

Don’t you love Spring? Flowers bloom, grass turns green, and people spend more time outdoors – it’s wonderful! It’s also a great opportunity to GROW your business!

You can put the tools you already own to work for you! As planting season ramps up, people need things they use just once per year – wheelbarrows, shovels, spades, rakes, lawn aerators – all kinds of things. So, they can either buy them (who has money for that these days?), rent them from the local rental place or mega-home improvement store (and pay just a few dollars less than what it would cost to rent them), or rent them from a neighbor on Renterval! That’s where you come in – with a few keystrokes you can start listing your items for rent. The best thing is, if no one rents them, you owe nothing. Even better, if someone does rent your items, you’re still not out any money! Why? Because Renterval simply deducts its commission from the amount you earn. That’s right – if we don’t collect money, you don’t owe a thing.

Don’t sell your stuff for a one-time gain. Rent it, and earn again and again!

Don’t let the growing season pass you by without growing a little green for yourself!

- Andy
